Modern Farmhouse Powder Room

I have finally finished the powder room in my home. Although there wasn't much to be done besides paint and shiplap, it seemed to take forever because, well....life happens!

The house is filled with dark finishes. The floor here is dark terracotta tile - beautiful, but still very dark. I decided that I needed to lighten it up in here. Paint was a major factor in this soft remodel.

The walls are painted Oyster Bay from Sherwin Williams, a beautiful soothing green. The shiplap wall accent is 1/4" plywood that has been cut into 6" strips and nailed up with a brad nailer. To give the look of real shiplap, I used a nickel to space the boards out . The shiplap and the trim are painted Simply White from Benjamin Moore. I am very happy with the powder room came out - now on to the next project!
